MAGICK Through the centre of the painting rises the twisting body of kundalini. This snake is composed of the lower and upper parts. The lower body is composed of the water waves, symbolic of the passive love of spiritual aspiration. From above descends the fiery tongues of passion from the Angel Self. This union of the Aspirant and the Angel is the essence and meaning of Magick. On the top left can be seen the Open Eye of Space radiating ten rays of light - one for each of the spheres of the Tree of Life. Between these rays is the starry heavens of the goddess Nuit, filled with five-pointed stars and snakes. It is the servants of the Star and the Snake that open the Eye and receive the sun, strength & sight, Light!. At this time the Sun is in the sign Cancer.
